The Indian Merchant Navy comprise of a large number of ships, Bulk Carriers, Tankers, Passengers Ships etc. The Shipping Industry offers the crew lucrative wages for operating and maintaining ships. Hence, there is a need to equip the crew with theoretical knowledge and practical skill to effectively contribute to the shipping establishment. Marina Academy of Maritime Research Centre & Charitable Trust, a maritime institute formed under the Mumbai TrustAct of the same name, has been established in beautiful and serene location. The institute is located at ISAND, which is 3kms from Hotel Sindbad, on Kalol-Pansar Road and approximately 32 kms from Ahmedabad, towards Kalol. and is situated on a sprawling land of about 11 acres, providing the right environment for residential training and is an ideal place for learning.
